The name & its origin
yone.

A platform built around the question every operational leader already asks - but rarely gets answered.

Company challenges

Three moments that expose the same gap.

Someone leaves. Their knowledge - the how, the why, the workarounds - walks out with them. The role is backfilled. The understanding is not.

A new M&A, a new partner, an investor. Suddenly you need to explain how the business actually works. Not the org chart. Not the strategy deck. The real operating model - and you're reconstructing it from scratch.

A new project, a new system, a new team. Same question from day one: how do we do things here?

In each case, the knowledge exists - but it's scattered, an afterthought, not maintained, and incomplete. A policy might tell you what must be done. It rarely tells you what is done.

The impact
9.3 hrs
per employee, per week
searching for information that should already be findable
73%
project & change fatigue
of employees hit moderate to high fatigue during change - with no increase in capacity
43%
engagement collapse
willing to support new change today - down from 74% just a few years ago
M&A diligence overrun
A 30–45 day objective is hard to protect when processes aren't documented - diligence stretches, timelines slip
Yone's mission is to make business context something operational people own, apply and govern - because clear information on the business is not a past problem only, it is the foundation AI will build on.

When information represents reality, people create impact.

I've spent 25 years in technology and consulting - financial services, insurance, media, manufacturing, higher education and software - across Europe, Japan and Hong Kong, at Accenture, AXA, Deloitte and Oakland Group before starting Yone.

At every engagement, the same question: what will be different, and how will people adapt their activities? And always the same starting point - a blank spreadsheet, a new interview list, rebuilding knowledge that someone already had.

Technology is not the blocker anymore - better business knowledge is. Fixing that will free people's time - first to do the work, then to solve more problems, deliver more improvements and drive more projects forward.
